Turkish Coffee Lady

We had the Turkish breakfast and coffee was the perfect amount for two people. The food and the atmosphere were great! There were a lot of different flavors of coffee to choose from and the deserts looked delicious.

An incredibly beautiful spot to relax and enjoy delicious food, with traditional Turkish coffee steeped in rich history—its influence on coffee houses around the world is unforgettable! . The owner and team are genuinely warm and very welcoming. A special thank you to Gul, whose service, kindness, and hospitality made the experience even more memorable. I truly enjoyed every moment at this charming cafe. Thank you for everything!

My experience here was wonderful! The staff was so friendly and helpful, recommending different coffee and pastry pairings when I seemed a little lost. I got the sweet Mardin coffee and the “new almond cookie” and it was perfect! The coffee was a little spicy, a little sweet, a perfect pick-me-up. The cookie was crumbly but still moist and sweet. I almost went back for seconds! Their traditional Istanbul coffee is also very good. And the interior was so cozy! I will definitely be back!

I stumbled upon Turkish Coffee Lady after a relaxing massage nearby and decided to check it out. I’m so glad I did! This is one of the cutest and most charming coffee shops I’ve ever visited. From the moment you step inside, you’re transported to another world. The decor is warm, inviting, and beautifully inspired by Turkey’s rich culture—think bazaars, museums, stone houses, and authentic coffee houses. I’ve never been to Turkey, but walking into this cafe felt like a little escape abroad. I was warmly greeted by Gunay, who was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. As someone new to Turkish coffee, I had a few questions, and she graciously walked me through everything. I ended up choosing the Mardin mixed flavor coffee, a blend of pistachio, caramel, chocolate, almond, and vanilla. It was phenomenal. So rich and flavorful, easily one of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever had. I usually add plant-based creamer to my coffee, but this needed nothing. Served in authentic Turkish style, Gunay even explained the traditional order of sipping water, coffee, and enjoying the Turkish delights that came with it. I also picked up a Pistachio Baklava for my daughter, who said it was one of the best she’s had—rich, flaky, buttery, and full of flavor. The textures were perfect, with finely ground pistachios and a fragrant syrup that tied it all together. The space is quaint, cozy, and full of treasures. I left with their Minty Cappadocia - Cardamom Flavor specialty blend to enjoy at home and a lovely ceramic plate. They also sell unique gifts like jewelry, art, ceramic mugs, and other delicious treats. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to stay a while and come back often. Turkish Coffee Lady is truly a gem. Can’t wait to visit again soon!

Visiting the city for work and was recommended this place. Having lived in Turkey for a few years I was hoping to experience something genuine and give me nostalgia. Well, that’s exactly what happened! The Apple Tea was exactly how I remember it and the Baklava (w/ pistachios) did not disappoint either! The cake was an impromptu decision and I was pleasantly surprised as it was larger than expected.

Great Turkish Coffee and Atmosphere! We enjoyed both the Aegean and Istanbul Turkish coffees – both were delicious. The baklava was a perfect sweet treat, and the service was excellent. A lovely spot in Alexandria for authentic Turkish coffee. Highly recommended!

Coming across a Turkish tea/coffee place always excites me! The Turkish Coffee Lady is a very cozy and inviting establishment where I enjoyed trying out the teas, coffee, baklava - and it all was worth the frequent visits to this lovely place! It certainly seemed like a place to gather and enjoy company of family and friends! We will be back for more
